Mediclinic Middle East has announced AED420 million for an expansion of Parkview Hospital in Dubai. The Dubai Media Office says construction is expected to start shortly, with completion scheduled during 2027. This is a planned addition to healthcare capacity, not an announcement that the new facilities have opened.

The plans include a dedicated children's urgent-care unit, expanded oncology services, and additional facilities for musculoskeletal care, sports medicine and physiotherapy. Day-surgery theatres and day-care suites are also included. The stated aim is to improve access to specialised services for residential communities in southern Dubai.

Start with the services you already use. Plot actual journeys from each shortlisted address, rather than relying on a neighbourhood name or a straight-line distance. Check routes at the times you would normally travel. The same approach works for schools, groceries and the workplace.

Keep existing facilities and future projects in separate columns. For a hospital, verify the relevant service directly with the provider and check your own insurance arrangements. A planned expansion should not be treated as available care today.
