Bay Grove Residences: the phases behind the AED800m-plus contract

Nakheel has appointed Metac for main construction on phases 1 and 3 of Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands. The contract exceeds AED800 million and covers 537 homes across seven buildings, with main works anticipated to finish in late 2028.

The wider community is planned to contain 1,154 homes in 15 buildings. Further construction appointments for phases 2 and 4 are still to be announced, according to the 17 September release.

That distinction gives readers a useful way to organise project news: start with the phase, then the building, then the milestone. A headline about a whole destination can be accurate while saying little about the particular home someone is tracking.

Keep a simple record with the announcement date, the buildings included, the appointed contractor and the work described. When the next update arrives, compare the same scope. Otherwise a contract award in one part of a community can easily be mistaken for progress on another.

Treat the expected end of main construction as its own entry. For a move, the practical information to seek is the specific handover communication for the relevant home, together with the arrangements for access and resident facilities. Do not turn a general construction target into a personal moving date.

This is a delivery update, not an assessment of current availability or a recommendation to buy. The cover is an original conceptual still life; it does not show the Bay Grove site or its architectural design.
