ADREA’s anniversary: choose the gala or a visit behind the scenes
3 min read
Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts has announced its first-anniversary programme on Jubail Island. It combines a gala on 31 October 2026 with cultural activities during November. Before choosing a date, decide what you want from the visit: a staged evening of horsemanship and music, or a closer look at the work behind it.
For the performance, the official One Year Home gala page lists Saturday 31 October at 7pm, with doors opening at 6pm. Emirati opera singer Fatima Alhashmi is part of the programme. The published dress guidance is formal attire, with white or white accents preferred. Put both the door time and performance time in your plan; they serve different purposes.
The gala page displays seated categories from Silver at AED 200 to Platinum+ at AED 800. These are the displayed category prices at our 15 October check, not confirmation that seats remain in every section or a quote for your final order. Compare the seat location and final checkout total before paying. A category name alone does not tell your whole group where it will sit.
For a visit behind the scenes, A Celebration of Horses and Heritage is listed for 1–29 November. Its description includes the stables, Tack Room and arena, with opportunities to learn about horse care and equipment preparation. Treat that as a separate experience: do not assume a gala ticket includes it, or that booking the heritage visit includes a performance.
The heritage product uses selected dates and times rather than an unrestricted month-long pass. Its terms say admission is for the chosen date, purchases cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded, and children under 13 must remain with an adult. Visitors must also follow stable etiquette and staff instructions. Read the current product conditions before committing a family group, and ask ADREA about any unclear requirement.
Build the booking around one main experience first. For the gala, agree on the section and arrival plan before selecting seats. For the heritage visit, confirm the session time and the ages of everyone attending. If adding a workshop or another activity, open that activity’s own listing and check whether a separate reservation is needed. An anniversary programme is a collection of choices, not automatically one combined ticket.
Keep a short booking note with the exact event title, date, time, venue and what your confirmation includes. Save the organiser’s contact details alongside it, and resolve access or timing questions before travelling. This guide compares the published listings; it does not reserve tickets or confirm availability at checkout. The useful souvenir to collect first is the right confirmation email.
